I’m currently testing a few proxy scripts to find out the fastest and most reliable one. To get more feedback I have decided to setup a domain with one of the proxy scripts and ask you to try and use the proxy and give me feedback about it. I’m especially interested in the following information:
- Is it fast or slow ?
- Which common websites can you access, which do not work ?
- Did you encounter problems when using the proxy ?
- Is the proxy banned in your network / country / on a website ?
The proxy will be up for a while and probably be replaced with another script if the results are not that great. It could however remain if everyone is happy with the results. And now, the most important aspect, the url: Unblockr

The proxy works brilliantly for me at work, where various sites are banned (games.slashdot.org is banned even though slashdot itself isn’t). It’s very quick, no complaints at all! Hopefully they won’t catch on and ban your site like they have all the other web proxies…
Well i tryed to look at rapidshare and it enters
teh website but when i click FREE to enter the
download sectione, it keeps backing me, it cant move foward, so im not shur what might the problom be but anyway it is good proxy engine.
Images wont show up at meebo… and it gives a connection error..

My best guess is (with some proof) is that the proxy is not spoofing all the adresses within the page… i for example hitted view photo (firefox’s right click menu…) and it to me to the actual link (http://images.meebo.com/image/skin/beta/img/msn.big.png)
Speed seems good… What kind of hw are you hosting the prxy on?
Works great for me at work…..but if I continue to test it too much, they’ll just block it too. :-(
downloads via rapidshare don’t work, I think rapidshare uses a special script to avoid such tings.
im here in Australia and used the proxy down at my college to check a friends bebo account. the proxy speed is excellent however i cannot view and images only text ???…also the youtube links from peekvid dont work… either than that it work perfectly thanx martin.
Tried to view full episodes of Lost on the abc network from Italy but, although I don’t get the “full episodes are reserved to US residents only” message”, when I try to launch the abc player I get the following message:
Not Found
The requested URL /streaming/player was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at http://www.unblockr.net Port 80
Anyone found a way around this?

The proxy is running on my own dedicated server which has enough capacities to handle large numbers of simultaneous requests.
i’m from myanmar. i tried to login to gmail which is banned in my country. but when i pressed sign-in button, the next page reached to normal google-URL (left ur proxy site)and my ISP blocked that page.
Damn it, work figured it out and have banned it :-(
