More than 8000 high quality wallpapers

I’m really fond of wallpapers and always looking for great sites that offer many of them. I do rotate them every 15 minutes on my Windows desktop which looks and feels great. Whenever I come upon a new wallpaper site that offers quality wallpapers without - to much - spam and ads I post it here at ghacks because I know that many of my readers also love wallpapers. The following site offers more than 8000 high quality wallpapers, the only bad thing about it is that it only displays eight of them per page.

The site that hosts all of these wallpapers is called wincustomize, surely known by some of you. There are two ways of downloading wallpapers from the site. The first one means that you simply click on an image that you like twice and it will displayed with a low resolution in your browser.

The second has a cap for visitors. The download cap is currently 20 megabytes which should be fine for about 10-20 wallpapers. Just click the download link on the individual wallpaper page to download the wallpaper in all resolutions that are offered.

I did not register to the site but it seems that you get a higher cap, or even non at all, after registering to the site. Registration is free for the first level. I suggest you try it out if you want to download more.

I want to say that wincustomize is not about only wallpapers, but skins for many fine aplications that customizes your windows desktop (For me Aero looks like something from 2 years ago :) ).

Also a tip (for those who don’t know this already): if you don’t accept cookies from wincustomize in your browser that 20Mb cap can be forgotten. Good luck.
