There are so many hot or not picture voting sites out there that cover almost any subject imaginable but a video voting site that uses the same system is new to me. DizKiz pulls videos from youtube and lets the user vote for or against the videos. The majority of videos that they pull are funny ones – especially commercials, blunders, fakes and homemade fun movies.
Instead of voting hot or not you say Kiz which is supposed to mean kiss if you think the video is hot and Diz if you think it is bad and does not deserve a kiss. Users can upload new videos which is on the one hand great because new content gets added regulary by the users. It is however problematic if users do upload videos with questionable content that do not fit the overall theme of the website.
The concept itself is entertaining and can keep you busy for some time. It is possible to add a widget to your site which displays a video in different sizes with the option to vote for it.
