the ipod is stuck on the connected sign but the ipod isnt n the comp. i need help now its my frnds an she needed help cuz she forgot the passcode soo i restored it an now its stuck on the connected screen

My ipods 8g and i think is 4th generation but this was the only fix i cud find. i tried dissconecting it from the port but the screen still says Synchronizing do not disconnect (my dog ran across the wire n it came out when i was downloading) is there anything else i could do?

My iPod says it’s using up 15 Gigs on other but there is nothing on my iPod, what should I do?

hey i disconnected the ipod 2gb nano 2nd generation and the do not disconnect screen remains. ive tried reconnecting it to different pcs and none of them recognise it anymore… itunes doesnt either.. and the do not disconnect screen is always there. connected or not.
what can i do?
