One connection does not receive full speed when downloading from giganews. I get a max of about 800k a second when using one connection.

I’ve been running my connection (10Mb) flat out since I upgraded on just 10 connections and it hasn’t had an impact

Maybe they’re giving 10 more connections because the SSL slows the process ?

Everton with the new EU retention law I would suggest to update. It is only $5, not that much if you ask me compared to the privacy gain.

I’ve been a giganews user for about 14 months and I couldn’t make my mind up whether or not to upgrade. In the end I decided to go for it, as you never know one day someone may ask my ISP for my records….
