Matt videos are most likely in flash video format. To be sure check the file extension. You can use SMPlayer to play these for instance, it’s the video player that I use and recommend.

i downloaded donwloadhelper and when i save the videos and when i check it after to open the files it won’t open , what can i use to open the file ?

Download helper works well with puppy linux 2.17.I was able to download videos from youtube using this extension.
On a related note,the downloaded file is an flv file which requires one to download a tweaked ffmpeg using puppy software installer.The default gxine has only video but no sound until patched.With the two dotpups ffmpeg2007-01-02.pup and ffmpeg2-2007-01-02.pup I am now able to view the video perfectly.

indeed, a very useful extension, much more versatile than Video Downloader. Never the less you can customize the type of files that you wish to detect…

YEah, this plugin is much much cooler than the previous Video Downloader Extension. Thanks for the heads up.
