Hi, if you want to bypass validation check for installing WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11 IN XP. Then perform this -:

1) If you have installed WINRAR then it’s almost done !!
2) Right click the file and EXTRACT IT in a folder.
3) Now execute THE FILES LISTED BELOW
a) umdf.exe
b) WindowsXP-MSCompPackV1-x86.exe
c) wmdbexport.exe
d) wmfdist11.exe
e) wmp11.exe
f) wmpappcompat.exe
4) That’s all folk’s

All these hacks seems to be so old now its doubtful that any of them would still work as microsoft constantly updates the wga “winodws genuine advantage tool” however I still dont see what the advantage is to the average computer user. say you install on a pc in one location an then u move 6 months later and have to re-install, well that could potentially cause the wga issue

The hack was access able some years back. But now they allow only Genuine users(like me:D) to download softwares from their server.

Any genuine user can download and share with other users though being illegal I do the same with my friends.

What Mafia has posted does not work because there is some file in Windows System Folder(a .dll file) which is to be deleted to make this registry fix.

Yet another way to make ur copy genuine. I was able to install WMP11 , and even XP SP2 BUT after restart it says problem. My pc didnt boot.
