has anyone verified this? is it really valid only for india?

Sigh… When talking about Vista people usually think Areo Glass, Sidebar, eye candy, super cool new toys and etc…

When I hear about it I think:

1. I will need totally new hardware due to requirements and DRM restrictions

2. I will be able to do much less with my media due to DRM

3. Microsoft will own my hard drive due to TCPA

4. Areo effects will make the system run sluggish unless you have several gigs of RAM.

Neadless to say, I will not buy Vista. I will stay with XP till it’s time to get a new computer and then I will probably get the cheapest OEM version available.

As it is right now, I mainly use Windows on my gaming machine. Everything else runs Linux :)
