Comic Books Archive

Geeks do love comics, so bare with me when I´am writing about this big comic books archive. You find more than forty comic series and lots of single issues of ever serie. The archive consists of more than 2800 comic books and is a treasure chest for comic book lovers.

Main focus are comic series from the late 40’s to the late 70’s including well known series like Tarzan, Wonder Woman, Freedom Fighters, Green Lantern and The Flash. All issues are available for download as .cbr files which are nothing else than renamed .rar files. You can simply unrar the files or use a special cbr viewer like Cdisplay to view them directly without unraring them first.

   The site is still down.

   I think Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern would still be under copyright in US. Perhaps they got taken down due to a copyright complaint or something?

   Luke I don´t think it went down because of copyright complaints but because of bandwidth restrictions. I think the site made it to diggs frontpage as well and that might be the reason.
