The famous TVU Player has been released in a new version some days ago. There is no information what has changed in this new version but one obvious change is the new graphical user interface which looks much cleaner than the previous one. Another new feature is the favorites tab which makes it possible to save streams as favorites for faster access. Let us take a quick look at the channels that tvu player is supporting.
I think they have added some additional channels in the new release, can´t remember for instance that the Cartoon Network or HBO were available in the previous tvu player version. I never heard of this app. What exactly is it for and what does it do?

tvu has limited number of international and US channels. i never had problem with video lagging or buffering. has hbo-asia, and espn sports

downloaded it and installed but it says player cannot be initialised.
the problem is it does not have any “menu” or “options” available.
i am behind a proxy/firewall so i need to setup the parameters.

What effort? You download it, install it and start it up and you are watching TV on the road. It works very well.
i am watching the atp tennis live … damn, espn wont broadcast many of the good games
@ Tony – Obviously you can’t read! West, the person I replied to, can’t get it to work for him and I offered a means of contacting the people who created the software. The effort is in doing just that as anyone with a brain could have figured out.
I was a big fan of the previous version. But this new one doesn t work on my side; always asking for authorization to go through Windows firewall… even if the program is in the list of authorized. I had to redownload the 1.5 on tvunetworks.com. Anybody is facing the same problem?
i can’t almost see any channel in tvu player. when they buffer and i am watching, the transmission gets broken and become to buffer again. The images get frozen. The only one channel i was watching without problem was telemundo, and it has a couple of days without being loaded. Is there a way i can get more quality from the tvu player or to watch channels by the internet at all?
Same thing here. I watched Telemundo too, and it isn’t on the new version.
I Downloades the new verson and it won’t work for me i load the channels but no signal is recieved please halp

I downloaded tvu for the first time and i can’t receive any signal. HELP!!!
Am I mistaken or can’t anyone setup to stream a tv channel with TVU (the broadcast client)? New channels are added all the time as people setup the broadcast client and start streaming channels from their cable system.
I love this app cause it lets me watch SpongeBob Squarepants in english on Nickelodeon outside the US!! :)

i usually watch football but right now ESPN, ESPN ASIA, and ESPN2 wont even show up on the list!

I hate that they took down ESPN…especially during this college football bowl season just minutes away. I have contacted TVU, but my emails go unresponded too. This app was much better about two months ago. Gone downhill since IMHO because the channels I want to see are all mysteriously missing. Rats, because this was almost perfect with ESPN and ESPN2.
it`s really shitty they took espn down. but does anyone know what happened to viidoo.com ? every time i try to get on the page it rather says “server not found” or a google page with the results for viidoo.com shows up. i fucking hate google!!! is there any way to blackball google?

and you will find tt TVU player company is facing prob with copyright laws so its taking some channels down. I wanna watch e ESPN and cartoon network :D

I think that they are trying to do things under the radar. I’m watching Champs Bowl on ESPN via some Chicago TV. I miss NBC.
