I thought I pass this great find on to my readers here at ghacks. Google Maps Flight Simulator is a nice little application that uses various google map locations like London, Paris and Tokyo and add a plane that you can steer on the map. If you ever wanted to fly over a town this application might be right what you´ve been looking for. Hope you enjoy it.
