Our first anniversary is approaching fast and I thought it would be a nice idea to have a competition to celebrate this event. I hope we see lots of people participating in the competition. Let me give you a rough overview of what I have in mind:
Write an article for ghacks.net
Write an article that has a minimum of 200 words and submit it to my email address (will be listed at the end of the article). The article that you submitted will be posted on ghacks.net if it meets the guidelines (no spam, illegal, gambling, sex and the like). I will contact you asap if the article was rejected and will state the cause.
If the article gets approved it will be immediately published, full credits will be given to the author at the end of the article. This is a great way to promote a website as well. I post your name and a link to your website if you have one on my site.
I will select the three best articles who will receive each 50$, 30$ and 20$. The money will be transferred using paypal because this is the system I´am using. I can also send it to you by snail mail, highly insecure but nevertheless a solution if you are not using paypal.
The competition ends 02.10.2006, one day before the first anniversary. Winners will be named on the day of the anniversary. Everyone else will be thanked for their contributions as well. That is, if I receive more than three, hehe.

I am assuming it has to be tech/IT/computer related and not something like football?
RG thanks for this question. It should be something that I´am usually writing about. So tech, it, computer, games, fun, software, tips, tutorials etc. Something in that line would be nice :)
