The freeware utility iPodWizard is a program for Microsoft Windows that lets you change the fonts, graphics and text of your iPod as well as the volume cap. (for European iPods). It´s also able to display hidden features for most iPods, those are:
Show voltage meter instead of battery
Show CPU usage in status bar
Force deep sleep mode when iPod shuts down
Disable Caching
Disable deep sleep mode
This is a great little freeware program, the ipodwizard website has a extensive list of tutorials that show you how to change settings. The website offers a way to add themes to your iPod as well, many popular themes like Star Wars, Halo 2 or South Park available.
