<a href="http://www.sciencetext.com/hide-wifi-behind-a-hotspot-shield.html" rel="nofollow">Hotspot Shield</a>, which I reviewed a while back, will help with this too. At least, it works with hulu.com from the UK...

Now, what I'd like is a way to use BBC iPlayer in the US

And Yahoo seems to have deleted all of the
answers people could have submitted with
this message on every related page...

"This question has been deleted

There was a problem performing that action, please try again later."

This kind of thing leads me to think that
Yahoo is getting too big for their britches.
Time has come for someone else to come along and offer a truly uncensored service.
Wahoo? Gotmail?

Is anyone reading this able to get ANYTHING on HotSpot these days???

I HotSPot setting us up for a pay service???
Or will they now claim this was a "free trial?"

As soon as I tried NBC Hotspot stopped working.
I checked details on the Auth Failure and it says that I don't have permission to access...
I think NBC and probavly ABC have updated their
software.

When I tried to contact Hotspot via their online support, it also hung, could not send
at all.

MACOSX it worked fine on SAfari-
downloaded firefox 3.0 - still no go.

Do you know what my problem may be?

This is how I work around hotspot. First i reboot my pc so i have max power. Then connect hotspot an d open firefox. Go through the stages and get to the loading screen. wait until your tv show starts - and then after 30 seconds then switch off hotspot. If you dont teh show will hang.

OK now when the ads come on connect hotspot again - make sure its on before you click ok to carry on. When ad is finished click ok to carry on and again after 30 seconds or so sitch it off.

if you are getting cant find show blah blah whatever then it could be either you havent changed your time zone or memory (just reboot) abc soaks up your pc memory, unless your machine is super fast.

I downloaded Charon and it didnt work and now I cant even get Charon to delete. I am trying to watch tv shows from the UK by using a proxy server but they do not appear to be working even though when I check my IP it shows the United States. Any suggestions??
I am having a problem I think because they are java.

Hi @ all Hotspot-Users,

I think the HotspotShield Problem is IP related, when you turn the program off, you are connected with your own IP again. And I can just guess that ABC made their flash-IP-Check-Script smarter, so it checks your IPs during the shows as well. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix this, it's annoying, but a payed VPN could be a solution..If anyone comes up with a solution, that would be great.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. Hotspot used to work fine for ABC. However, now, after the episode has loaded, I get the error message (episodes are temporarily unavailable...").

Can anybody help?

Thx
