Opera 9 Beta released

The opera team finally released the first public beta version of their upcoming firefox and internet explorer contender opera. You can download this version of opera at the opera website. (for free of course). There has been lots of changes from Opera 8.54 to 9.0, to many to list them all at my site but I think it´s nice to have a small list of operas keyfeatures that have been introduced in opera 9.0:

  • Widgets – Small Web applications
  • BitTorrent support
  • Content blocker
  • Improved rich text editing
  • Customize your search engines
  • Thumbnail preview
  • Site-specific preferences

If you are interested in all the changes take a look at the different changelogs for windows, macintosh and linux.
