Microsoft releases critical IE and Outlock Patches

If you are still using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Outlook you should immediatly start your Windows Update Service and download and install the latest patches for those two programs that Microsoft released yesterday to the public. The Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary for April, 2006 lists three critical, one important and one moderate vulnerability that have been fixed with the new patch.

My advise would be to switch from Internet Explorer and Outlook to applications that do not have that many serious flaws and are less of a security risk to the user. Those would be Firefox or Opera instead of Internet Explorer and Opera Mail or TheBat mail client instead of Outlook Express. Just search in google for the above terms and you will find the manufacturers website.
