I always loved playing Heroes of Might and Magic games and I currently wait for the fifth installment of the series which is developed by a new team. Ubisoft created a minigame for the fifth version of Heroes of Might and Magic which is available at the website www.heroesmini.com. The game is a simple browsergame in which you chose a faction (all factions from the heroes game are available, like Haven and Dungeon) and buy armies. You have access to three army slots and can purchase all units of that faction. You pay the army with gold starting with 5000 gold which means you can only purchase a few relativly weak units at the beginning.
After purchasing your army you send it to the field and challenge another player. While challenging him you select which of your armies attack an opposing army. Certain unit types are stronger if they fight against other unit types, for example a flying unit has an advantage in battle against infantery and cavalery units but is weak against ranged and magic units. It´s advisable to have a balanced army to be able to attack certain troop types.
