u mentioned in AtariBoys blog that there is a way around viewing comments posted as “preferred list only” but u didnt say wut the code was, unless im missing something… can u please share that code with me? Im worried that my lil sister is getting into some trouble and writing about it in her blogs posted “preferred list” i just wanna make sure shes okay…..

you used to be able to view anyone’s comment with the comment code, however as of today it’s impossible to do so if the person sets their profile to private.

Hey i had something weird happen today. Theres this girl that i look at her profile and whatever, she set it to private. and today i clicked on her name from someone elses name and i could totally see her profile even though it says 14 for her age and we are NOT friends. So i signed outand tried to look at it, and it said private, then i signed back in and i could see it again, but were not friends? Can anyone explain this to me> Is there somethine she could have done so she could see my profile and in turn it made me able to see hers?

Yep, you can’t see the comments anymore. Seems like Tom finally figured out how to get around it. Anyway, if anyone finds a way to view the private comments again, let us know.

hey. i would like to know if anyone knew how to hide how many comments you have and when they were posted, etc. I’ve seen people with it hidden, but i don’t know the code for it.

go to chasebadkids.net/ and it will give you a bunch of different codes for that sort of thing, i think it’s more near the bottom on the left side of the page, it’ll give you a link to hide certain text. hope i was helpful!

It has more to do with the fact that myspace is a social website and it’s against their tou to make your myspace private if you’re actually above the age of 14. It fucks up the whole purpose. -Download Mozilla Firefox
-Go the Page
-Click View at the top of the screen
-Go to Page Style, and choose No Style
-Switch it back to Basic Style to see the page normally again

Does anyone know how to view a private profile without requesting them as a friend?

So I read the link that Patti and Syntax were going back and forth with but there was no address link on how to view private comments. I don’t care to see what else is on the page, or who their friends are, I just wanna read comments. I won’t add the guy as my friend for personal reasons but I like checking up on him every now and then, without asking our mutual friends cuz I don’t want him to think that I’m still crazy about him or anything. Does ANYONE have a link that works? Or know how I can email the admin on the aforementioned site to see if he wouldn’t mind giving it to me as well?

i dunno how to view comments on a profile set to private (but im working on it) but to view comments on a non-private site that are hidden you need to open two windows. The first window needs to be a “view/edit more comments” page. So you should see nothing but comments. The second window should be the site where you want to view the comments. Copy their friendID and paste it in the place of the friendID on the first window. Hit enter and SHBAM you have their comments.

just wondering, is there a way to override any of these codes?

Tip for lovely. Tell the person top get a DAMN LIFE!! TIP!! If a personds *top8* is HIDDEN they do NOT have a *top8*, otherwise it would be showing. So deal with it, tell them to stfu.

the way i use to view hidden comments and friends is using firefox…

go to firefox.com and download their browser.

then log in to myspace, and go to the persons page that you want to view.

once on the page, on the toolbar at the top, click view >page style > no style

its easy! looking at someones hidden comments!
they just forgot to add one things on the top!

People are trying to see PRIVATE stuff.

These are not the same things so work arounds for seeing simply items not loaded will not work for items marked as private for myspace.

exposedspace.com is awesome. Doesn’t let you see private profiles, but lets u see hidden comments or top 8. If you want to see someone’s profiles just get a yahoo address make a fake profile, add a picture of someone from google, and request them as a friend, its easy.
