Sorry, this doesn’t work. You cannot fix a dead pixel.

Case in point: Dead pixels are different from Stuck pixels. I know beause I had used LCD monitors which had dead and stuck pixels.

Taken from the site you mentioned:

“These instructions will fix “stuck” pixels, not “dead” ones. Dead pixels appear black while stuck pixels can be one constant color like red, green or blue.”
