If Hackers Ruled the World

You probably know worth1000.com: The website holds many photoshop contests where artists submit altered images to a certain contest theme. They recently announced the “If hackers ruled the world” contest and recieved lots of images.

I´am afraid that I cannot show you some screenshots from the contest due to site guidelines but I promise you its worth the visits. You see lots of altered real objects like Big Ben in London, the US flag, lubbers and tic tac boxes.

Update: The contest is no longer available for users who are not logged in on the Worth 1000 website. It is still possible to view entries for newer contests on the site though. Just click on the Contests or Galleries link at the top of the page to see a listing of the most recent entries on Worth 1000. A click on a gallery for instance opens all photos of that gallery into the web browser. Entries are usually sorted by overall rating, so that you see the best rated entries at the top of the page.

It is interesting to note that the site has expanded into other creative categories. Besides effects and photography, are now categories for writing, illustration, multimedia, minecraft, corporate and more on the site.

Registered users can take part in contests.
