Erotica on Google Print

Just stumbled over this on a blog post that I read a few minutes ago: The author claims that erotic books could be found using Google’s new print service. Guess what, I decided to try it out for myself, here are the results.

I wanted to start slowly so my first search word was “erotica”, came up with more than 20000 results, first one being “Ladies’ Own Erotica: Tales, Recipes, and Other Mischiefs by Older Women”. Not my kind of book, fast forward to page 10, lets see “Condom Sense: A Guide to Sexual Survival in the New Millennium”. Every word and combination of words that I tried revealed lots of books covering those subjects. I´d say its worth a try, let me know if you find anything spectacular using this service.

Oh, you need a Google account if you want to read more than just a few pages, I suggest you get one if you have not already. (gmail for instance is fine)

Update: The blog the original article has been posted on is no longer available. The link to it has been removed as a consequence. Google Books offers one of the largest indexes of books and magazines on the Internet. Just enter a topic that you are interested in in the search form at the start page and you are taken to a list of search results. A search for Erotica is now listing more than 800,000 results. Not all of those results can be read though. The majority can be previewed but you will certainly find some books there that are availably fully. Just look for the link next to page count.

Google in the meantime has renamed Google Print to Google Books
