Interesting Partnersites articles

Lets see what my partner sites have written this week that could be also interesting for my visitors. We start with AMCP Blog who got their hands on MSN Messenger 8 and are posting some nice screenshots and information about it.

Geekblue found an interesting Firefox extension that makes it possible to view open pages with Internet Explorer in a new tab within Firefox. This is useful when you are trying to view sites that don’t render properly with Firefox, such as secure sites that may require ActiveX.

You can read a good article about stream ripping over at primehacks. For those who don´t know, stream ripping means that you save the streams of internet radio stations to your local computer. Most programs offer additional features that also save artist information, song titles etc. if the radio stream supports it. This is the easiest legal way to add music to your collection.

The MSN Messenger (or Microsoft Network Messenger) has been renamed to Windows Live Messenger. It can be downloaded from the Live website as part of the Windows Life family of free programs that extend the functionality of the Windows operating system.

IE Tab is the name of the Firefox extension that Firefox users can use to embed Internet Explorer into the browser. The add-on allows Firefox users to access sites designed for Internet Explorer in the browser.

As far as recording Internet Radio goes, there is a great tool available for the Windows operating system. StreamWriter can be used to record multiple radio streams at the same time. The program comes with a large list of Internet radio stations that can be recorded right away.
