Alternative Keyboards

Are you tired of your keyboard that looks like every other keyboard out there? Do you want to try something new ? Have you ever thought that a different design would be better suited for you and would make you the ultimate typing machine ?

Look no further, I found a alternative keyboard gallery that has lots of graphics and links to keyboards that are mostly way different from the default one.

Take a look at the site and tell me if you find one that you would like to try and think could work ;)

Update: The original website the keyboard designs were posted on is no longer available. One of the best ways to look at computer keyboards is a search on Bing Images or Google Images for the keyword.

Both image search engines display a wide variety of keyboards in the results. You could even fine tune the search by searching for “strange keyboards” or comparable terms.

Click on this link to open the Bing Images search results for the search phrase strange keyboards. This link leads to a Google Images search for the same search phrase.

You will find lots of strange keyboards in the search results there or on Google.

You can alternatively check out websites like Computer Sight or Switch 2 Life which have posted keyboard top lists.

Many of the keyboards posted there have been designed for specific purposes, and not for every day work on the computer.

It can take considerable time to get used to working with keyboards that have no standard layout. Many computer users have already problems if they cannot work on a full qwerty keyboard, imagine the issues that they would encounter when working with keyboards that use a completely different design or layout.
