I found another upload service that lets you upload videos and images to their directory. They have no information on upload limits, only that the files will be on their server as long as they do not violate their Terms of Service.
They offer a site search where you can search the site for images and videos (adult content optional). I don´t know if your uploaded files are automatically added to their site search or if you have to enable it separately.
Nevertheless the site search yields some nice results, try it out and head to badongo.com
Update: Six years later and Badango is still available on the Internet. It is however interesting to note that the latest press release dates back to the year 2007. Most users may want to use file hosting alternatives because of this.
A good starting point is the free file hosting list that can point you to a number of services that are still in the business.
To name a few services that are highly popular:
- MediaFire – One of the easiest to use file sharing and hosting services on today’s Internet. Just drag and drop your files to upload them to the srevice. No account required.
- Hotfile – Another free service that supports file up to a site of 2 Gigabytes
- Deposit Files – Has the same limits as Hotfile. Upload files with a size of up to 2000 Megabytes.
File hosting services have advanced quite a bit since 2005. Many do not require you to create an account to upload files, which is great for some fast file sharing. Accounts are only necessary for users who want to manage the files that they have uploaded to the service.
Everyone else gets a delete file link usually that they can use to delete the files that they have uploaded to a service.
