I would be careful of doing this, many sites say they offer FREE downloads but some websites are known for giving viruses through downloading which can wipe out your whole computer system which happened to the person above. Please be careful when download anything online, it has happened to many of my friends in the past.

Be careful. I picked up a nasty virus using this method. While trying to find a few last minute songs to add to a playlist for an event, one of the MP3′s I tried to download installed this “Windows Fix Disk” program. The program popped up and ran some system scan and said I had all these errors and needed to “purchase” the program to fix the errors. I didn’t purchase the program, but tried to quickly back everything up. Within a minute of this program running, all the files on my desktop and programs were gone! The virus got past Symantec and Cisco Security Agent, which is supposed to prevent any new .exe files from running/installing unless you click ok. Cisco actually popped up the window to say, blankityblank.exe is trying to run, do you want to allow? I clicked no, kill program, but alas it ran anyway. After all my desktop icons and programs were gone, I ran Symantec full scan. It found nothing….Needless to say, my laptop is currently being wiped and rebuilt

I like to dig into a particular site where I know mp3s are hidden. It’s not necessarily an “index of” page. Sometimes Google won’t show you mp3 files that are on a site. Theoretically if you type in a site, precluding it with “site:” you should get all pages or files from that site. For instance, there are mp3′s at a certain site but it won’t come up even if you add “filetype:mp3″. I have had to do extra backdooring for that, and sometimes still not successful. Perhaps the sites add a robots.txt that forbids mp3 searching, if that is possible. http://www.Tyoogle.com has a nice interface that does the google searching for you.
